Granddaughter of the famous Raj Kapoor, daughter of actor / producer Randhir and actress Babita, the little Kapoor had stardom stamped on her, right from her birth. She began her early years of education from Jamnabai Narsee School and later from Welham Girls, Dehradun, followed by a degree from Mithibai College.
In 2000, Bollywood splashed success on Kareena with a J.P. Dutta movie, Refugee. Though the movie didn't do quite well as expected but Kareena got recognized as a talented actress. In 2004, Kareena starred in Chameli opposite Rahul Bose, which proved to be a turning point in her career. |
